The rope broke 30 minutes before the parade started. Luckily Walt Kirkland had a
set of metric tools close by and we were able to fix it with time to spare.
Dixie's #1 driver Warren Pratt and Patience Weeks get ready
to get in line. Patience carried the DSC banner on the parade route.
Everybody hops on for a quick picture before we pull out.
Warming up...as if!! The temperature was already 93, with a heat
index of 101.
Here, we are dancing in front of the Irving Opry.
Making our final turn on Main Street. The Parade lasted almost 1 hour.
Needless to say, we were ready for the showers.
